The phrase "the bee's knees" (meaning the height of excellence) became popular in the U.S. in the 1920's along with the "cat's pajamas". For all you young'uns out there. And speaking of young'uns I had to explain "The Bump" to my kids the other day...remember that dance???
Ok, back to Photo Art Friday.. I cropped and edited these photo's and then placed Bonnie's textures on top. (Thank you Bonnie)
Happy Friday to all and thank you for reading my post ♥
So beautiful!! Love the last photo...well manipulated. This is fabulous!

These ARE the bee's knees Phyllis! I especially like the second. I've walked along the Marginal Way so many times - such an amazing path. Perhaps we have passed each other there at some time?!? Thank you for sharing your art work with PAF.
ReplyDeleteYou have been a busy bee! Your photos a great - good job.
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely images - it's hard to capture bees and have them in focus! A little suggestion for you .... next time try erasing at reduced opacity around just the bees so they're a little sharper and more the focal point. If you erase at 100% then there's TOO much difference, but removing a little of the texture helps emphasize the focal point. Terrie#13 commenter
ReplyDeleteHow dreamy and beautiful your images are - I especially love the second one. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGlorious! - Love these, especially the last one.
ReplyDeleteGot a little "bee" in your "bee knees" pics. Lovely gifts from my back door. You've made them even more wonderful in the processing.
ReplyDeleteA little scary hearing the Bump had to be explained. That means I'm getting old. Funny how that happens. have a great weekend Phyllis.
that second shot is just beautiful. love the texture work and the tones of this shot!
ReplyDeleteI like the red flower. I´s beautiful.
