Exploring With A Camera - Opposing Lines

In the current  Exploring with a Camera series, we are exploring opposing lines, lines that run in opposition to each other.  In going through my collection of photographs, I was pleased to find these examples.

Opposing lines of the Zakim Bridge in Boston

And close up -

Opposing vertical and horizontal lines of the glass structures.

And I am wondering if the pattern of the curvy lines in this glass blown witches ball could also be considered opposing lines???

  1. I LOVE that bridge Phyllis! Perfect opposing lines. And the marble is great too - a good find to add to the "opposing line" collection. My eye keeps following the lines around, and doesn't really want to rest in one place. Thanks so much for linking in to Exploring with a Camera!

  6. Great finds Phyllis. Love the bridge close up and that marble/ball is a wow shot. I'm having trouble with this concept, maybe I'm just over thinking. You seemed to have nailed it. Nicely done.
