I love the juxtaposition of the people and the archways. Clever "in camera shooting" or "cropping" - great photo. Karen in Kenai
Excellent photo.Regards and best wishes
Excellent shot, the bricks and shapes of the walls are perfect for black and white. Lovely with the persons in the background!Irene
Excellent composition. It's obviously a good place to rest!
Thank you all for the comments. I was originally drawn to the archways, but the two women in the photo make it interesting. They are both facing the same direction and it could even be symbolic of life... the younger woman is closer and sitting in the archway, while the older woman is further away and on the other side of the archway. It's funny how we often wait for people to move out of a scene before we photograph it, yet people often make our photos more interesting.
Whew! This is a complicated composition, but it works! Lots to see. :-) David/
Like the shot, but I'll throw in my suggestion; crop the shot so that the left hand edge of the shot is just to the left of the bollard that the lady is resting against. That would increase the contrast between the two ladies. That's my two-penny worth..
Great shot! Very nice in B&W!Thanks for sharing. And thanks for visiting and taking the time to comment;o)***Have a nice and happy week****
Great shot, perfect in black and white. The top is that both woman are sitting the same way!
Dang, I thought at first glance that was the Albert Docks in Liverpool! Nice shot.
I like the framing on the woman on the right...the arches are very cool too. Have a great weekend.
